EA offers certificates in Riding/Driving and Horse Management from Introductory to Level 3. These certificates can be done as stand-alone units or as pre-requisites to the Coaching Accreditation courses.The EA Riding and Horse Management Certificate courses have been designed to ensure that the concepts of safe equestrian practices/riding and horse care are upheld, which are essential to the long term future of equestrian sports.
Coach Accreditation courses are available in General, Dressage, Eventing, Jumping, Vaulting, Carriage Driving and Showhorse.Entry level is Introductory which is aimed at coaches who want to specialise in coaching beginners. Level 3 is the highest standard of accreditation - and is for coaches who work in the high performance areas and/or coach elite riders.
An official is a person who oversees a competition, or aspect thereof, by applying the rules of the sport. They may be rules directly relating to judgments on performance, time, score and/or upholding the principles of fair play and welfare of the horse. EA trains and accredits Officials at National level across a variety of disciplines. EA also liaise with the FEI in regards to international officials.
