The National Youth Development Program Coordinators are:
Dresssage - Jan Smith (VIC)

Jumping - Alison Rowlands (WA)
As part of the introduction of the National Youth Development Programs in 2009 the Coordinators will be responsible to the High Performance Panel for the coordination of all aspects of the program. The role will require the Coordinator's to assist in the program formulation and review, coordinate youth development camps, liaise with head coaches, provide support to squad members at major events and maintain performance records to aid a youth development performance analysis system. The term of the appointments are from January 2009 to December 2012.
Veterinary Team appointments
The Board of Equestrian Australia have endorsed the following Veterinary Team appointments for 2009–12.
Eventing Dr Denis Goulding
Jumping Dr Andrew Hunt
Overseas based Dr Graham Potts
Dressage/PE Dr Janine Dwyer
We look forward to our experienced Veterinary Team providing their expertise once again in assisting our National Teams to maintain the great results achieved at the Olympic Games.
Jumping & Eventing Officials
EA Jumping and Eventing Officials are due to update their accreditation.
A letter and form will be sent to all Jumping and Eventing Officials from EA National Office in the next week.
Officials need to update their details and return the form to EA National Office so that their listing on the EA database and website can be amended if necessary.
Should there be any queries about this process please contact Nathan Holman or Rebecca Willis on 02 8762 7777.
New Dressage Scoring System
Equestrian Australia is excited to be able to provide our affiliated clubs with a Dresssage Scoring System.
Developed by Keith Smith of Queensland for the complimentary use by all our affiliated dressage clubs, this new scoring system will make competition day for event organisers a lot simpler.
The system is very easy to use and all that is required is a computer or two that have Microsoft Excel installed and some willing operators!
As a separate file is kept for Horse and Rider information, the data can be re-used for different classes and competitions, reducing data entry time.
All EFA and FEI tests are supplied and the program is able to accommodate other tests without updates to the scoring program.
Results are shown with individual judges rankings for all participants and over-all placings.
Results are in a format suitable for posting directly to the scoreboard and for import into the EA database.
For more information click here or contact Tracey Lesslie tracey.lesslie@efanational.com or 02 8762 7788.
