We believe in having fun while working on your horsemanship skills. The old saying that “practice makes perfect” is only true if you are having fun with the practice! Our instructors are knowledgable as well as patient, and they create an encouraging learning environment. They also emphasize safety so that you can focus on learning without being concerned about getting hurt.

We start at the ground level with our beginner riders and work hard to make sure they are comfortable around horses before they ever climb into a saddle. As you learn more skills and gain more confidence, we offer instruction in all areas of horsemanship, including grooming, cleaning stalls, and basic first aid for horses.

Whether you want to improve your skills for competition or if you want to learn just for fun, we can help you meet your goals. In addition to private lessons, we offer semi-private classes and group classes so that riders can practice horsemanship with others who have similar training needs.
We know that riding is fun and that helping you learn the basics of riding can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. We offer a variety of options for lessons to meet the needs of different clients.
Our Horsemanship Program is designed for beginners who want to learn basic horsemanship skills (walking, trotting, and bending) so that they can ride with confidence on public trails or in a friendly competition. The program includes several hours of private instruction every week all year around as well as private lessons when you’re ready to take it further. Our semi-private lesson plan allows students to come in at any time and ride with one of our experienced instructors whenever they want. Our group lessons allow riders who live nearby or have similar training needs to get together and practice their skills with others who have similar goals.
As part of our commitment to building a community of riders, we also host events and special days throughout the year where participants can relax with their friends and session with other riders (and their parents!)
Horse riding is so much more than a sport. It’s a recreational activity, a great way to keep fit, and an extremely effective method of relieving stress. Not only that, but many studies have shown that people who participate in horse riding see improvements in their balance and muscle development, as well as their posture.
